The burliness of the binding makes it one of the most durable and well suited for high-level skiing, whether powder, park or pipe. Also, the stiffness and immediate response to skier input are characteristics that have been very apparent since we first got on the Jester 18 Pro.

Who it's for:

Expert freeriders and freestyle skiers who need the most rugged alpine binding with a high DIN to keep you locked into your skis during high impact landings and high g-force maneuvers.

Highlights:

The Jest 18 Pro features a plethora of technologies to keep you locked in and pushing the limits. The Anti Ice Rail on the toe allows you to remove ice and snow build-up from your boots to ensure a proper and tight fit when clicking in. Inter Pivot 3 heel pieces provide maximized power transmission, energy absorption, and vertical heel elasticity for a smooth and composed ride through the roughest of descents. Triple Pivot Elite Toe pieces provide impressive retention, increased energy absorption, and an optimizing supporting surface for power transfer. Gliding AFD’s on the toes ensure a safe and virtually frictionless release when the time comes. To top it off, Magnesium is used for the housing of the bindings for utmost stiffness and responsiveness while also keeping the weight to a minimum.

Things to consider:

The Jester 18 Pro is meant for high-level skiing and is typically excessive for most skiers. They are designed for the most aggressive of freeriders that are doing the gnarliest of big mountain descents as well as professional level freestyle skiing in the park or pipe. If you are not one of these individuals, the Griffon 13 or possibly the Jester 16 would be a better option.
